D.E.A. is a rapper/producer from Salinas, CA. He released his frist album "West Koast" in the summer of 1999. After the release of his debut album he went on to produce tracks for other artists in the Salinas area and built up a network of talented recording artists that he continues to collaborate with to date. In the summer of 2003 D.E.A. released his second album "West Koast Volume 1" which was intended as a follow up album to "West Koast". In the summer of 2004 he released his third album "Out of Control" which wasn't a planned release at the time but ended up released based on what was going on at the time. Towards the end of 2004, D.E.A. decided to launch his own record label and on January 1st, 2005, Breathe Records was born. In July of 2005 D.E.A. released his 4th album "The Broken Window" under the new label. In the summer of 2006 he re-released his previous albums under the new label and also renamed his first album "West Koast" to "West Koast Volume 2". D.E.A. is currently working on his next project "West Koast Volume 3" while maintaining the record label.
